What's in a booth
A booth is a club mixer with a pair or two pairs of AlphaTheta CDJ-3000X players, each in its own flight case, with the audio cables and network cables to link the players to each other and to the mixer. Two players cover a single DJ; four leave room for back-to-back sets and changeovers without stopping the music.
Prefer a different mixer? Any of these can sit in the middle of a booth: Allen & Heath Xone:96, AlphaTheta Euphonia, Pioneer DJ DJM-A9, Pioneer DJ DJM-V10, Pioneer DJ DJM-V10-LF. Effects units such as the RMX-IGNITE can be added alongside.
Before it arrives
- A sturdy, level table wide enough for the players and the mixer side by side.
- Mains power at the booth for each unit.
- A cable run from the mixer's master output to the PA, and a booth monitor if the DJ needs one.
- Room for the DJ's headphones and USB sticks, and somewhere to put a laptop if they use one.
